About me
My name is Luca Gervasi, and I am the creator of this website and author of the articles on it. I started diving in Koh-Tao in 2012 (it seems like almost all divers end up there at some point), but I only started diving more seriously in 2024, in the beautiful country of Malta. Since then, I have dedicated most of my time, energy, and money to improving my knowledge, skills, and culture in the world of diving.
Everyone has their own reasons why diving is special to them, so let me give mine: First of all, it makes you see water through a different lens -All the beaches, lakes, rivers aren't just that anymore, but are new possibilities to discover areas people have never been to- the vast spaces underwater make me feel like I'm exploring an area cut off from the rest of the world. The second thing is that in the world of diving, you can learn something new every day, no matter your skill level: of course, the new open water diver will learn a lot in their first few days, but even instructors, or technical divers (or instructor trainer, or whatever high level you can think of) can still learn a lot - from how other divers do things, to more theory.
